There might be a few duplicates here, but they were on my camera so I decided to post them.

I guess it's been a productive summer!

Midwest Clay Artists show at Spiva Center for the Arts

,This show is running for the month of September 2013.  There are a lot of different artists represented here....I personally, love the diversity.  We don't just make pots around here, but there are beautiful pots as well.  The reception will be Friday, September 20th.  Hope you can make it!!!

There is work from  Kevin Audley, Angel Brame, Linda Brown, Me, Sue Colgin, Heather Grills, Jeff Jones, Bobbi Kemna, Beverly Kiehl, Melody Knowles, Greg Krepps, Jacque McDonald, Frank Pishkur, Debbie Reed, Sarah Serio, Brent Skinner, Merlen White, Matt Wright and Randy Wright.

A few more tea pots

just a few more .... I have to admit that these little guys (no more than 3 inches tall) are just so fun to make.  I can't resist.  BUT now that I've done these then I have to make trays and little cups 'cause you have to have the complete set, right???

I have been terrible about keeping this up...what with Facebook, a web site and just life in general.  But I thought I'd take a few moments to post some pics of my latest work.  I was asked to be the featured artist at Phoenix Fired Art, a local ceramic studio and gallery, for the month of July.  Let it be noted that I only had a month to prepare for the show, but I do love a challenge and have a VERY difficult time saying no to most anything (BIG BIG weakness).  I hope I stepped up to the challenge..here are just a few of my tea sets from "teapots and textures"...enjoy

I believe that I ended up with somewhere between two dozen and thirty different sets. There is more work than that, but this took the most time.  Let me know what you think!!
