Firing May 2013

this little guy was just a lark...kind of fun

this slumped, but I love the texture

I like the way this turned out

a bit of different textures...just the beginning

teeny teapot #1

this will be explored more...love the feet

lots of texture here

sweet and simple

working on the funky handle

don't you just adore the runs?

inside texture

simple and just wonderful

this form is going to get much more attention...clay quilts....love, love

About Me

My photo
Daria Claiborne
I love to make pottery and have been doing so for more than17 years now. It is my hope that my pieces reflect a little part of me, you know..not perfect, but with a somewhat "polished" look. I've been participating in shows for several years now. Had my first solo show in April, 2011. I belong to the Midwest Clay Artists, Joplin Regional Artist Coalition and ArtForms in Pittsburg. Presently, I'm a volunteer for the Joplin Art's Fest committee. Basically, I believe in immersing myself in the arts! I've even gone back to dancing at Midwest Regional Ballet's studio.
